Growing up in a military family I never had a sense of what home is because of how often we had to move. I have lived all along the east coast in different places that I feel lucky I got the chance to live in but no place ever felt like home. I went to college at a small school outside of Charlotte, North Carolina and once I graduated, I moved to Florida to be closer to family, but something still felt missing. My now wife and I made the move the Charlotte a few years ago and I finally feel like I’m starting to sense what home feels like. To me, the Carolinas have everything, from the mountains to the big cities to the beaches of the Outer Banks down to Hilton Head Island, and every small town in between. When it comes to golf this means the Carolinas are able to offer some of the best and most unique courses in the world.
